Oxicel Standard

Absorbable Hemostat

Oxicel ORC Hemostat is an absorbable knitted fabric composed of oxidized regenerated cellulose. Oxicel ORC is white with a pale‑yellow hue. Slight discoloration may occur due to aging, but this does not affect its properties. Oxicel ORC Hemostats meet all USP requirements for Oxidized Regenerated Cellulose.

Oxicel Fibril

Absorbable Hemostat

Oxicel Fibril forms a physical barrier that prevents blood loss while promoting the formation of fibrin clots over a broad surface area. It consists of multiple layers and can be applied in layers, clumps, or rolls. It easily conforms to irregular wound shapes.

Oxicel Knit

Absorbable Hemostat

Oxicel Knit is ideal for heavy bleeding. Its high material density provides increased strength. It is suitable for covering, wrapping, or suturing and does not adhere to gloves.

Oxicel NonWoven

Absorbable Hemostat

Oxicel NonWoven is a structured, nonwoven, needle-punched material with interlaced fibers. It is 100% plant-derived, eliminating disease transmission risks and allergic reactions to animal-origin components.

Oxicel Powder

Absorbable Hemostatic Powder

Oxicel Powder is a new-generation topical absorbable hemostat, designed to control persistent bleeding over large areas. The particles are biocompatible, anti-inflammatory, and made from pure plant starch, containing no animal-derived ingredients.

Instant hemostasis

Absorption occurs within hours. Upon contact with blood, Oxicel Powder initiates the coagulation process. Blood components—platelets, red and white blood cells—are trapped in the powder particles, forming a gel-like mass. This enhances coagulation regardless of the patient’s condition and acts as a barrier to further blood loss. Oxicel Powder is fully absorbed within 24–48 hours.
