ENT Neuromonitors
Neuromonitors are devices used for neurophysiological monitoring of nerve integrity or brain function during surgical procedures in general surgery, neurosurgery, spinal surgery, vascular surgery, cardiac surgery, thyroid surgery, etc. These systems help surgeons identify nerve structures to maximize motor nerve protection during interventions.
A cochlear implant is an electronic device that stimulates the auditory nerve directly with electrical signals. While it does not restore normal hearing, it provides individuals with severe hearing loss access to sound through electrical impulses, improving speech recognition. Unlike hearing aids, cochlear implants bypass damaged parts of the ear and stimulate the nerve directly using implanted electrodes. However, the outcome varies depending on the individual.
